This year, the masterful chefs of Shanghai Min use the traditional Shanghainese Chef’s Signature Soup as the base of the Signature Chinese New Year Casserole of Stewed Meats & Vegetables. The soup of fresh pork, salted pork, bean curd sheet and bamboo shoot further enriches the taste of 14 luxurious ingredients including sea cucumber, fish maw, pork knuckle, prawn, salted chicken, Chinese ham, bean curd, glutinous rice cake, dried mushroom, Tianjin cabbage, green bean vermicelli and fish ball.

Another festive essential in Shanghainese tradition is Braised Pork Knuckle (HK$248/HK$223), served in sophisticated style with ‘golden eggs’ and Shanghai cabbage.
Completing the Chinese New Year takeaway menu is Shanghai New Year Pudding (HK$168/HK$151), an exceptional expression of the art of festive pastry-making, made with precious Chinese liquor Wu Liang Ye and osmanthus honey. Moulded as a pair of carp which seen as good luck and packed in a deluxe pink gift box, it is an ideal gift for relatives, friends, colleagues or business associates. The price is additionally discounted to HK$133 for orders of ten boxes or more.
