Graphic couture. Ultra-feminine and sophisticated, the Gianvito Rossi Collection for Fall/Winter 2012-2013 is the synthesis of a stylistic approach that has taken shape over time. It is the sublimation of the aesthetic power of a line and the sinuosity of a stroke able to transform footwear into a harmonious extension of a woman's body. Stylistic themes express spontaneous sensuality, allowing a detail, element or combination of colors to make a statement.
Pumps and booties are the stars this season. The palette inspires creative flair and an almost serial use of color that becomes a style detail besides lace, corset laces, cool metal inserts and quirky torero tassels. In a carefully studied combination of contrasts, monochrome nuances of beige, black and steel gray are offset by a vibrant range of floral hues such as peony, crimson red, tamarind orange, and hyacinth blue toned down by deep forest green.
