IT’S BEACH PARTYTIME WITH AQUAMUSIC!
Setting trends is in the DNA of award-winning Aqua Restaurant Group, and this extends beyond food and décor to music as well. Aqua has assembled its own team of hot international DJs to offer a menu of great sounds in its three hotspot venues – Aqua, Tivo and Armani/Privé.
The DJ team goes under the name of Aquamusic and is lead by French DJ and producer Hallex M, well-known on the international music scene for his unique House music sounds. The line up extends to Olivier Velay, Miles Slater and Abel Rogers. Tracks from the foursome can be found in the Soundcloud under Aquamusic (visit www.soundcloud.com/aquamusic).
In July and August, it’s time to heat it up with the Aquamusic team for Aqua Beach – a trio of sizzling summer parties starting at Aqua, moving on to Tivo and then finishing up in Armani/Privé – celebrating respectively the glamorous Italian Riviera, muscle-bound Bondi Beach and the hot passionate beach scene of Cuba.
Aqua in Tsim Sha Tsui, boasting a glamorous new look courtesy of world-famous David Collins Studio to go with the stunning views of Hong Kong’s skyline, kicks off the party with a ‘Night at the Italian Riviera’ on the Saturday 28th July, when sophisticated summer style meets late night disco beats. To ensure that guests get into the Riviera mood, fabulous Aperol cocktails will be served, while DJ Olivier Velay spins the sounds of the Italian summer. Try the unforgettable ‘Aperol Kiss’ with Bombay gin, Triple sec, fresh watermelon juice and a kiss of Aperol, and ‘Ciao Lovely’, a flirty, spicy, signature cocktail, with a mix of Tequila Anejo, Dry Vermouth, Strega and homemade agave nectar and chilli. They are also the perfect partner for the chic Italian nibbles that will be served after midnight.
Tickets are $150 per person and include an Aperol cocktail on arrival.
The scene then moves on to Wyndham Street. The muscle-bound beach vibe of Sydney will come to Tivo at its ‘Bondi Beach’ night on Thursday 9th August. Keeping things ‘hot’ will be cool beach house music paired with a range of enticing summer cocktails, including Passion Splash and Topical Martini. No Bondi Beach party would be complete without a cold beer, Peroni and of course its culinary collaborator ‘Fish n’ Chips’. These will be served in mini portions to ensure that guests have the energy to dance till dawn to the sounds of the fabulous, DJ, Abel Rogers.
Finally, don't miss the Aqua revolution at Armani/Privé's ‘La Noche del Che’ on Saturday 18th August, when the seductive Cuban party spirit will be in full force from sunset till late. A terrace barbecue, cigars….and fun with a little water…. are a few of the playful touches that will ensure a spectacularly memorable Latino night.
Aqua Group's music manager, international DJ extraordinaire, Hallex.M will be throwing down the Latin grooves, and he is sure to be enjoying one of his favourite drinks- the Mojito. The Authentic Mojito is one of the Cuban cocktails that will be on offer, others including the refreshing coconut Barcadi; a freshly opened coconut topped with Barcadi.
Tickets are $200 per person and include a Cuban cocktail, and complimentary canapés from 6pm to 8pm. The dress code is retro-sexy summerwear inspired by Havana in its heyday.
Aqua Beach is just one of the DJ nights that the Aquamusic team is hosting at Aqua’s three hot venues – glamorous Aqua in Tsim Sha Tsui, hot Tivo on Wyndham Street and sophisticated Armani/Privé in the heart of Central.
