48 sensational hours in Phuket

Fancy a weekend away from the hustle and bustle of Hong Kong. Look no further than a weekend at the luxurious Andara Resort and I recommend a longer stay as ours was way too short but 48 hrs is certainly something to look forward to.
We landed at Phuket International Airport and was whist away to the Yacht Haven Marina Bay and boarded the 60ft luxurious Andara Yatch. Custom built and accommodates up to 20 guests, this slick and classy cruiser has 5 bedrooms, a huge sundeck and a bunch of the most friendly and service oriented crew and captain onboard. It was an exhilarating half day cruise to the gorgeous Phang Bay Island. Diving, snorkeling, lunch and Champaign were all catered for. A perfect way to unwind and be pampered after a 3 hr flight from Hong Kong.
Located on Millionaires Mile overlooking the Andaman Sea is the pinnacle of luxury holiday stay by the Andara Resort & Villas. This resort comprises of 37 lavish suites and 26 luxury pool villas from three to six bedrooms. For couples try the 2 bedroom penthouse suite with a rooftop swimming pool. Beautifully decorated in Thai style furnishings, this spacious suite with an awesome Jacuzzi will leave you breathless.
For families , you cannot look past the 5 bedroom villa which warrants attention. Huge in size, beyond the realm of possibility and with your own personal villa attendant Thai chef, you and your family members are prime for a wonderful retreat and some sensational fine dining experience. Have your dinners by your own private pool which has the most beautiful of views, high up in the hills & overlooks down to kamala beach.
The next day, have lunch at the Silk Restaurant and try out Chef Supreeda’s Goon Sarong (Phuket-noodle wrapped prawns served with mango sauce or the delicious Manning Phuket ( fresh vegetables and roasted duck spring rolls served with a spicy sesame sauce) then immerse yourself with a wonderful massage at the Andara Spa and head down to the Beach Club, just a few minutes walk from the resort but if you are feeling lazy, hop on the mega kool door-less shuttle car service. Luxurious double sun loungers await, cold towels, drinks & snacks at your disposable so you could just tan yourself away.
What else is there to express except an experience here is a “must” for those who loves the finer things in life and escape into the Andara World. Having won numerous awards with the most recent being for “South East Asia’s 20 Finest Resort Developments”. Alan Zeman’s vision to built “one of the most sought after and luxurious resort in the world” is soundly established and certainly has won our award as the Most Desired Places to Stay.
