THE LAUNCH OF SWAROVSKI – MASTERS OF LIGHT: FROM VIENNA TO SEOUL
Last night Swarovski celebrated the arrival of its landmark traveling exhibition in Korea’s capital of K-pop. The star-studded event, held atXYZ Seoul in the vibrant Seongsu district, was attended by Swarovski local ambassador in Korea, Kim Chaewon, of global K-pop sensations LE SSERAFIM, and friends of the House Sung Hanbin, Hwang In-Youp and Blue Pongtiwat Tangwancharoen, all styled in Swarovski.
Kim Chaewon shone in a Millenia choker styled with Matrix jewelry, a Millenia watch and a Lucent ring.
Sung Hanbin, leader of ZEROBASEONE, wore a Masters of Light Seoul exclusive Teddy pendant, Dextera pearl jewelry, a Matrix Tennis necklace and Octea Moon watch.
Actor Hwang In-Youp was radiant in an Idyllia brooch, Dextera pendant, Dextera Lux watch and Matrix rings paired with a monochrome outfit for maximum shine.
Blue Pongtiwat Tangwancharoen dialed up the drama in custom Swarovski Matrix body jewelry, a Matrix brooch, a Millenia necklace, blue Millenia earrings, and a ring stack including Matrix, Hyperbola and Lucent rings.
Guests enjoyed a pre-party tour of the exhibition, which was envisioned by Global Creative Director Giovanna Engelbert, and celebrates almost 130 years of the Austrian House’s heritage, savoir-faire, and influence across the worlds of fashion, jewelry, and pop culture.
Highlights include stage costumes worn by Harry Styles, Rihanna, Madonna and Kim Kardashian, along with custom outfits from LE SSERAFIM’sCRAZY music video. Also featured are replicas of the crystal microphones from their performance at the
2024 MTV Video Music Awards, which were embellished with 24,000 Swarovski Crystals.
Masters of Light brings together an exceptional selection of crystal-embellished masterpieces from noted fashion houses including Armani, Balenciaga, Fendi, Alexander McQueen, Saint Laurent, and Paco Rabanne.
Also displayed are showpieces from Swarovski Created Diamonds Galaxy Collection crafted from exquisite laboratory grown diamonds, Swarovski statement jewelry pieces and figurines, and a kaleidoscope of crystals – including the largest crystal chaton ever created.
