Samsen Central Now Serving Lunch with All-Time Samsen Classics

Following the much-anticipated news of Samsen’s third opening on Central’s On Lan Street, the newest outpost of the Hong Kong’s favourite casual Thai eatery is now serving lunch from Tuesday to Sunday from 12:00pm to 3:00pm, to delight the hungry appetites of its most stalwart fans.

A lively lunchtime spot in the heart of Central that will soon be a go-to for many, the daytime menu is a condensed list of enduring Samsen classics for city-goers to savour a taste of the restaurant’s beloved signatures while in the area. Patrons can satiate their cravings throughout the day now with long-time crowd pleasers such as Samsen Wagyu Beef Boat noodle soup (HK$158), Wok-Fried Rice of Crabmeat (HK$168), and Pad Thai Noodles of Tiger Prawns (HK$158).

Moreish sides of Ruby Pomelo & Tiger Prawn Salad (HK$158), Crispy Fried Turmeric Squid (HK$138) and Spicy Chopped Duck & Thai Herb Salad (HK$138) are also included on the lunch menu well worth a stop-by for a midday break, as well as select well-loved desserts such as Thai Mango Sticky Rice (HK$98) and Young Coconut Ice Cream (HK$88) to sweeten the day.

During the week from Tuesdays to Fridays, office workers can brighten up ordinary workdays with signature beverages that hint at a sunny holiday, including Thai Milk Tea, Thai Lime Tea, Fresh Lime Soda, and Singha Beer for a special lunchtime price of just HK$28. Meanwhile, visitors and neighbourhood residents will find Samsen Central to be a wonderfully convivial destination to catch up with family and friends, perfect for casual hangouts and get-togethers especially during laidback weekends.

The cosy, shophouse-style space designed by Studio Haig offers a casual dining experience where intimate conversations can be happily enjoyed alongside Samsen’s warm hospitality and bold flavours. Soak up the electrifying atmosphere while surrounded by multidisciplinary artist Chris Kong’s layered artwork of vintage Thai graphics and 80s urban and contemporary street culture and find yourself transported to the vibrant cityscape of bustling Bangkok in just one afternoon.
