A black background with a black square
Tailoring is an English invention; the formality it gives you is a framework to express yourself. There’s nothing more sexy than a suit!
There is Harris Tweed in all shades and patterns, Scottish tartan, Yorkshire wool, showing in both womenswear and menswear.
Sexy knitwear, oversized shirts, pourpoint sleeves and fencing jackets in quilted velvet for evening, lace up trousers in denim or serge. Masculine shearling is worn with overprinted tartan knitwear, eveningwear in black.
Slashes, taken from SS91’s ‘Cut, Slash and Pull’ applied to poplin and taffeta and tartans hand rolled on knitwear or distressed on jersey. Stripes are roughly painted, stained with coffee or overdyed.
Everything appears worn and familiar.
