Bombay Dreams Launches a Special Tasting Menu by Master Chef Qureshi

Since its relocation in August, Hong Kong’s most iconic Indian restaurant, Bombay Dreams, has garnered a loyal following of discerning guests, who return for the venue’s delicious array of refined Indian dishes and comforting brunch buffets, which have proven so popular the restaurant is often booked-up with a long waiting list on most weekends. In celebration of Master Chef Irshad Ahmed Qureshi’s return to Hong Kong, Bombay Dreams launches a special tasting menu featuring dishes from the restaurant’s signature selection and the master chef’s specialist Northern Indian dishes.

The Bombay Dreams Tasting Menu by Master Chef Qureshi is available daily during lunch and dinner service, and a minimum of two guests are welcome to indulge in a scrumptious sharing feast for just HK$498+10% per person.

Master Chef Qureshi understands all too well the importance of sharing, generosity, precision and high quality ingredients. The tasting menu is designed to bring friends and family together, and is as perfect for celebrations as it is for casual catch ups.

The tasting menu follows the format of a traditional family meal; start off with a selection of gourmet sharing small plates, including Subz Ke Shikampur, vegetable patties stuffed with cheese and seasoned with ginger, chilli and garam masala; Murgh Kalmi Tikka, perfectly grilled chicken marinated with yoghurt, cream, whole spices, and a touch of saffron; and the iconic Galouti Kebab, a closely guarded family recipe and one of the definitive trademark dishes of the Qureshi clan. Arguably the most incredible kebab from Lucknow, the dish is made with finely pounded minced lamb mixed with herbs and spices and slow-smoked with cloves before being finished with a quick pan-sear. It is packed with floral aromas, subtle spices and a touch of smokiness.

Master Chef Qureshi, who can regularly be found in the dining room sharing his thoughts on his cooking with Bombay Dream’s loyal guests, also presents a selection of special desserts to complete this sensational meal, include Gulab Jamun Brûlée, a special creation that combines Crème Brûlée and Gulab Jamun, mixed with cardamom and pistachio; and Khubani Aur Khajoor Ka Halwa, an apricot and lentil pudding flavoured with saffron, nuts and dry fruits.
