A New Weekend Brunch Menu at MAJO with Alfresco Dining Option

Comforting and inviting, this autumn, MAJO Tapas Paella Bar has launched a new weekend Spanish brunch menu with free-flow options, paired with one of the biggest alfresco patio seatings in Soho, making for the perfect way for those easing their way into the relaxing weekend.

Be inside the Mediterranean-inspired dining room or make the most of Hong Kong’s Autumn climate and grab a seat on the alfresco patio with your four-legged companions.

The Spanish brunch is available every Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. It is priced at HK$390 per guest, including a selection of sharing tapas, a choice of one main course and dessert. The two-hour free-flow package offers brilliant value for money and is priced at HK$230, including sangrias on tap, Cava, house wine and JJ Whitely Gin & Tonic. All prices are subject to a 10% service charge.

This sumptuous Spanish meal commences with an assortment of sharing house-made tapas, including Cold Cuts Platter with an assortment of Ibérico cold cuts, Spanish cheese, Padrón peppers, olives and grated tomato on coca bread; Pan-seared Hokkaido Scallops in garlic and parsley oil; Slow-cooked Galician octopus with creamy mashed potato, smoked paprika, salt flakes and extra virgin olive oil; Croquettes and many more.

Options for the mains include Salmón, the pan-fried crusted salmon in Mediterranean style served with ginger pumpkin purée and green asparagus; Lomo de Bacalao, cod loin served with chickpeas, sofrito sauce and drizzled with Padrón pepper oil; Cochinillo, a 16-hours slow-cooked suckling pig leg served with sweet potato and pear sauce; Pollo Asado, Mediterranean marinated whole spring chicken served with baby potatoes; Entrecôte, grilled Angus grass-fed striploin steak served with Piquillo peppers confit and fried potato cubes; Paella de Marisco, Spanish Bomba rice cooked with prawns, clams and mussels; and Arroz de Gambas, creamy Spanish Bomba rice cooked with prawns and cuttlefish.

End this delightful lingering meal with the choices of decadent Quiero Chocolate, almond chocolate cake with Gianduja mousse topped with chocolate shaving and homemade chocolate ice cream; Tarta de Queso, Basque-style cheesecake made with a mix of Spanish cheese; or Crema Catalana, one of the most iconic desserts in Catalunya, the caramelised custard cream is flavoured with citrus and cinnamon.
