This September, Kerry Hotel, Hong Kong unveils a brand-new afternoon tea and Japanese-style buffet experiences, infusing the season with a touch of freshness for guests to create cherished moments with loved ones and friends in a delightful atmosphere.
Lobby Lounge | ‘Autumn Fruit Bliss’ Afternoon Tea
As the autumn breeze gently sweeps in, Lobby Lounge presents the exquisite ‘Autumn Fruit Bliss’ Afternoon Tea from September 1 to October 31. The afternoon tea has infused with an array of seasonal ingredients and fruits such as figs, pears, cinnamon, blood oranges, and more to create an enchanting assortment of savoury and sweet delicacies that perfectly capture the essence of autumn.
Guests can commence with the luscious and juicy Peach on Ice to awake the taste buds. Incorporated with premium Japanese peaches from Okayama, known for their sweetness, the fruit is served with ice to offer a cool sensation. One of the highlights among the savoury items is the Foie Gras Choux Puff, skilfully blending the richness of foie gras with the sweetness of figs, evoking a true taste of autumn. Topped with caviar, the Smoked Salmon Avocado Tart wraps smoked salmon with lime zest, creating an irresistibly delicious bite.
On the sweet side, the offerings are equally exceptional. Standout desserts include the visually appealing Fig Tart, the rich and decadent Dark Chocolate and Walnut Cake, and the refreshing Maple Orange Ice Cream. The Fig Tart has paired with red wine jelly, almond cream and fig jam, accentuates a rich fruit aroma and provides a multi-layered taste experience. The Dark Chocolateand Walnut Cake has infused with bourbon cream, emanating a subtle hint of liquor. Lastly, end on a sweet note with the Maple Orange Parfait, which has paired with sweet blood orange, capturing the essence of autumn’s sweetness with each bite.
The vibrant afternoon tea delights are elegantly presented in a refined wooden box, perfectly complementing the autumn theme with eye-catching aesthetics.
Sip on a glass of Autumn White Peach Sparkling Drink while indulging in these delectable treats or elevate the experience with additional HK$228 to upgrade for two glasses of Veuve Clicquot Champagne for a relaxing and delightful afternoon tea experience.
