Byredo Eyes Closed: Love is love, and it sees no limits

Inspired by Alasdair McLellan’s ‘The Perfect Kiss’, Byredo collaborates with the legendary British photographer to envisage a connection that eclipses all difference and division. Conveyed through touch, couples cling blindly to each other, revealing their most intimate moments of trust. Everything said, nothing seen, a deep spiritual bond between twinned flames.

Souls that intertwine, an unexpected coupling of patchouli and papyrus enters into delicious collusion with orris butter, ginger and carrot. Candied spices of cinnamon and cardamom invoke infinite warmth and tenderness, the soothing balm of a kindred spirit.

This is an olfactory experience that emotes connection. Intangible, yet steadfast. For when we endure love from afar, spirits attune, transcendent over time and vast, incredible landscapes. The invisible has infinite possibilities – don’t look, it’s magic.
