Each set comes with a special drink crafted for the occasion
Neighborhood Nordic cafe Hjem welcomes the Year of the Wood Dragon with none other than the ever-popular Lunar New Year tea set for two. The tea set this year will be available from 6–13 February from 3–6pm.
Guests can begin their tea set with the savory tier, consisting of the cafe’s signature smørrebrød—Arctic Prawn and Slow-Roasted Pork Belly—to kick off what will be an indulgent selection of classic sweets and unique bakes inspired by traditional festive treats. After the savory start, guests can move onto an assortment of sweet delights, which would include favorites such as an assortment of Macarons, the signature Cinnamon & Cardamom Bun, and Almond and Buckwheat Cookies for a taste of nostalgia. To finish off, the final tray of goodies include the decadent Pu-Erh Cupcake, a ‘not-so-sweet’ (and therefore a crowd-pleaser) Red Bean Bundt Cake, and the Traditional Norwegian Waffle that remains timeless.
The Dragon’s Back, a festive drink for the occasion will also be available throughout this period, combining fresh orange juice with a homemade lingonberry syrup to make for zesty and vibrant sips to fuel you for a prosperous year ahead.
Starting at HK$528 per pair, the afternoon tea set includes one tea of choice and a Dragon’s Back each. At HK$588 per pair, guests can enjoy a hot beverage of their choice along with a glass of Chardonnay each.
In this edition of the tea set, Hjem embraces the local experience while celebrating its Nordic roots, inviting guests to enjoy this harmonious blend of traditions to welcome a joyful year ahead together.
Hjem accepts walk-ins only.
