Chantel Shafie Jewellery Introduces The Eternal Dragon Collection

Chantel Shafie, a Hong Kong-based fine jewellery designer with more than a decade of experience creating unique bespoke designs and custom bridal jewellery for private clientele announces the official launch of her eponymous brand with the unveiling of The Eternal Dragon Collection. Chantel Shafie Jewellery reflects its founder’s multicultural heritage, her love and connection to her Hong Kong home, and her long-held fascination with tradition and symbolism, offering empowering pieces that are visually striking and resonate across diverse cultures and communities. Each design is handcrafted using recycled gold and the highest quality ethically sourced stones. 

The inspiration for The Eternal Dragon Collection emerged from the success of Shafie’s earlier The Signature Medallion Collection, which featured international vintage 22k solid gold coins set into diamond medallions. From this, to honour the place she calls home, Shafie went on to create The Chinese Zodiac Series using Hong Kong coins depicting zodiac animals. Each representing a unique story, the medallions quickly became cherished symbols for families wishing to commemorate children’s births or significant life events. They also came to define Shafie’s unique approach to jewellery design as an Anglo-Persian who has lived in Hong Kong for 20 years and maintains a vision of creating sentimental jewellery that clients connect to on a personal level.

The Eternal Dragon Collection is designed to enable wearers to connect with the jewellery on multiple levels. Each piece can be worn alone or stacked and layered with other signature Chantel Shafie designs.

Crafted with 18k recycled gold and ethically sourced diamonds, The Eternal Dragon Collection reflects Shafie’s commitment to creating ethical and environmentally sustainable jewellery. Her collaborations with local artisans and experts also speak to her efforts to preserve traditional craftsmanship in Hong Kong.
