Lacoste Opens First Concept Store at Langham Place, Hong Kong
Lacoste is thrilled to announce the grand opening of its new concept store at Langham Place, Hong Kong. This innovative space, inspired by the iconic Harajuku Concept store in Tokyo, beautifully showcases Lacoste’s French heritage and its signature fashion-sport style. The store’s design seamlessly blends modern aesthetics with classic elements, creating an inviting atmosphere for shoppers. Visitors can expect to find a curated selection of Lacoste’s latest collections, reflecting the brand’s commitment to quality and style.
Unique Customization Area
This store introduces a unique “Atelier” customization area, the first of its kind in Hong Kong and the fourth worldwide. Here, customers can personalize selected Polo shirts, T-shirts, Sweatshirts and Caps with a variety of crocodile patches, including an exclusive Hong Kong design, adding a local touch to the brand. The customization process is user-friendly, allowing customers to choose from a wide range of colors for text embroidery and patch placements. This feature not only enhances the shopping experience but also allows customers to express their individuality through their Lacoste apparel.
Tennis-Inspired Footwear Section
The footwear section boasts a striking circular design inspired by the tennis ball, embodying the concept “from the court to the street.” This design emphasizes Lacoste’s roots in tennis and its French fashion-sport style. The section features a comprehensive range of footwear, from classic tennis shoes to contemporary streetwear styles. Each pair is crafted with precision and attention to detail, ensuring both comfort and style. The circular layout not only enhances the visual appeal of the section but also makes it easy for customers to navigate and find their very own perfect pair.
Special Polo Wall
A standout feature of the store is the special Polo wall, a concept shared only with London’s Regent Street store. This display highlights a wide array of Polos in various colors and fits, celebrating the legacy of Lacoste’s founder and the inventor of the Polo, René Lacoste. The Polo wall provides an engaging way for customers to explore Lacoste’s extensive collection, offering detailed information about each product’s design, fabric, and fit. This innovative feature underscores the importance of the Polo shirt in Lacoste’s history and its ongoing evolution.
Exclusive Lacoste x One Piece Collection
Coinciding with the store opening, Lacoste launches the exclusive Lacoste x One Piece collection. This collection will be available exclusively at the Langham Place store in Hong Kong, marking its first worldwide offering after its debut in Japan. The collaboration features limited-edition apparel inspired by the popular manga series, One Piece. This exclusive launch adds an exciting element to the store opening, drawing in both fashion and anime lovers.
Le Café Lacoste
Enhancing the shopping experience, Lacoste introduces “Le Café Lacoste,” a pop-up café located at the storefront. Inspired by the scenic Champs-Élysées in Paris, this café allows customers to immerse themselves in a French atmosphere while enjoying specialty beverages. The café’s menu features a selection of gourmet coffee, and refreshing drinks, providing a delightful break from shopping. This addition deepens the connection to Lacoste’s French origins and offers a unique, relaxing space for customers to unwind.
Maxime Valat, CEO of Lacoste APAC, expressed his excitement about the new store opening: “We are incredibly proud to bring this concept store to Hong Kong. This space not only reflects Lacoste’s rich heritage and commitment to quality but also introduces new and exciting elements that enhance the customer experience. We look forward to welcoming everyone to our Langham Place store and sharing the unique blend of French elegance and modern innovation that defines Lacoste.”
