Loro Piana pays tribute to the 2025 Lunar New Year and the symbolism of wisdom embodied by the snake with a new limited edition collection. The collection reimagines the brand’s iconic pieces, featuring special editions of the Bomber jacket, Grande Unita scarf, Extra Pocket handbag, and White Sole moccasin shoes.
This collection ushers in the Year of the Snake with a fresh take on classic silhouettes. The collection showcases seven elegant and iconic Bomber jackets, each crafted from diverse fabrics, colors, and accessories. The Bomber jacket, which debuted in 2003 in Portofino, Italy, reflects the brand’s special connection to sailing and its lifestyle. Designed with impeccable craftsmanship and extraordinary fabrics, the jackets are available for men, women, and children, highlighting the brand’s superior craftsmanship and versatility of materials.
Among the seven Bomber jacket styles in the collection, one features soft, cloud-like merino wool, offering exceptional comfort and feel. Another is crafted from ultra-light Windbelt Stretch fabric, incorporating a thin Storm System® layer for wind and rain protection. This advanced technology combines with a soft texture for an unparalleled experience. The Silk Wool Cash Bomber for women offers a luxurious feel, while the men’s Quilted Wish® fabric adds a sophisticated, unique look. The Tux Barathea formal version is made from Loro Piana’s signature suit fabric, blending 85% wool with 15% silk, and features a distinctive mink lining or rainforest print on white and cream fabrics. Knitwear styles with velvety linings enhance the elegance of this festive collection.
Baseball caps and silk accessories are adorned with patterns inspired by snake scales or Loro Piana’s iconic thistle emblem. The classic Grande Unita scarf from the Icons collection is decorated with matching snake prints. White Sole moccasins and the Extra bracelet feature newly crafted leather, while the Extra Pocket handbag is made from soft brown shearling for a luxurious touch.
Additionally, the collection introduces a special teddy bear, wrapped in a snake-patterned scarf, adding a playful finishing touch to the collection.
