In 1947, Christian Dior established an unfailing connection between fashion and beauty by setting up the iconic ‘cabine’ in the boutique at 30 Montaigne. Hinting at the backstage scene of future runways shows, the models would get ready in an atmosphere of total excitement, sheltered from prying eyes. The House models and dressers shared the space, and presented Monsieur Dior’s creations to his clients by appointment only, in the adjacent reception rooms. Miss Dior, the first House of Dior fragrance, already had pride of place on dressing tables next to their favourite makeup items, while silk and lace ribbons, photographs and love letters stayed carefully folded, hidden at the back of the drawers, along with sweets…

Today, the house of Dior has drawn inspiration from this avant-garde, private ‘cabine’. Miss Dior Blooming Boudoir delights the senses with an invitation to discover the entire Miss Dior universe, with beauty rituals combining fragrance and makeup items, which are donning a new couture millefiori pattern to mark the occasion.
