MONO INTRODUCES NEW AUTUMN MENU FEATURING LATIN AMERICAN CLASSIC

ampioning Latin American flavours to Hong Kong diners, and its ingredient-focused ethos, is sure to make a lasting impression with guests with its new tasting menus.
Executed with a proverbial nod to Chef Ricardo’s Latin American roots and classic French training, the carefully crafted spread features a variety of traditional and innovative South American-inspired dishes.
Lunch highlights include: Venezuelan Corn Arepas stuffed with Snow Crab and Avocado, a modern twist on Venezuela’s national dish; Spiny Lobster Taco served in a blue corn tortilla and topped with a plum Caribbean salsa; Quail a la Brasa topped with a drizzle of Venezuelan Adobo and a plank of Tamal on the side; and MONO’s signature homemade Ecuadorian Chocolate topped with rosemary ice cream and Tonda Iblea olive oil.Dinner highlights include: a refreshing shellfish cocktail featuring grilled nopal and Peruvian leche de tigre; imperial langoustine paired with fresh Ecuadorian cacao; Spiny lobster placed atop Venezuelan cachapa and lobster broth; and Ecuadorian chocolate tamal with Hokkaido milk and pineapple to round out the meal.

Since its opening in December 2019, MONO has relentlessly sought to distil South America’s complex culinary culture and ambition by way of Ricardo’s mastery of fine dining. The restaurant’s commitment to honouring the region extends to intricacies including plateware inspired by South American pottery celebrating the continent’s coastline and mountains. Looking ahead, MONO remains even more committed to driving education in the dining room, taking guests on a journey of discovery about Latin America’s gastronomic culture.
