This November, conscious all-day dining restaurant Moxie is launching a contemporary Afternoon Tea Set.
Created by Chef de Cuisine Michael Smith, the Afternoon Tea Set comes with three savoury bites and three sweet pastries, with seasonal ingredients at the forefront of each dish.
The debut set features a Cheese and Onion Tart with Pumpkin Seed Coleslaw, a Panisse with Fig, Endive and Celery, and a Sesame Prawn Toast with Sweet Chilli Dressing, using sustainably sourced Selva Black Tiger Prawns raised in mangrove forests.
Sweets treats include a choice of two cakes or pastries from Moxie’s freshly baked pastry selection, and of course no afternoon tea would be complete without scones and jam. Chef Michael has put a modern spin on the classic confectionery, serving an Earl Grey Scone with Apricot Jam. Vegan and gluten-free options are available upon request.
Chef Michael Smith states; “We wanted to create a relaxed afternoon tea experience where guests can enjoy high-quality bites using in-season ingredients and local produce. The offerings will rotate to suit the seasons and availability.”
Guests can enjoy this tea set in the comfort of Moxie’s modern and natural dining room, on the mezzanine floor of Alexandra House in LANDMARK, while watching each dish be prepared in the vibrant open kitchen.
Moxie’s Afternoon Tea Set is designed to be shared at $358 + 10% SC for a set for two, including one beverage per person from the restaurant’s extensive range of teas and high-quality coffee.
