OMEGA Introduces the New Seamaster Planet Ocean Worldtimer in Two Distinctive Colours

A Bold New Evolution of the Iconic Timepiece

OMEGA’s innovative Worldtimer now joins the dynamic Seamaster Planet Ocean collection—reimagined in sleek, high-tech black ceramic for today’s global explorers. First introduced in 2017 within the Aqua Terra 150M range, this modern classic now takes on a bolder, deeper form, combining mechanical mastery with travel-ready functionality.

A Watch That Connects the World

At the heart of every WorldTimer is a stunning topographic map of the Earth, crafted from grade 5 titanium and viewed from above the North Pole. Using laser-ablation and varnish, OMEGA achieves an extraordinary level of detail. Surrounding the globe is a 24-hour ring (day/night) protected by hesalite glass, while global cities – including OMEGA’s hometown of Bienne at GMT+1—circle the dial for true world-time functionality.

Built for Adventure

  • 45.50 mm case in brushed black ceramic [ZrO₂]
  • Ceramic bezel with laser-engraved, polished diving scale
  • Water resistance: 60 bar (600m / 2000ft)
  • Powered by the Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8938, visible through a sapphire crystal caseback

Two Distinctive Styles

Both watches are paired with a black structured rubber strap and ceramic/ceramised titanium clasp:

  1. Turquoise Edition

    • Turquoise accents
    • White Super-LumiNova on hands and indexes
    • Turquoise stitching on strap
  2. Grey Edition

    • Sleek grey detailing
    • OMEGA’s new grey Super-LumiNova
    • Grey strap underside for contrast

With this new addition to the Planet Ocean line, OMEGA offers a Worldtimer that’s not only visually captivating but also highly functional for travellers, divers, and collectors alike.
