This Pride Month, The Standard, Hua Hin is throwing culinary caution to the wind and teaming up with the enigmatic Chef Ploy Natnicha Boonlerd from the local institution AMI Brunch & Bubbles. Together, they’re concocting a menu that’s more mysterious than a blind date: food that looks like one thing but tastes like a whole other universe of flavor.
Chef Ploy, a culinary chameleon, has transformed from an air hostess to a culinary superstar, ending up as a finalist on Masterchef Thailand Season One and even battling it out in TOPCHEF Thailand 2023. Served at Praça on Saturday, 29 June, The Standard x Chef Ploy experience will feature an exclusive Thai izakaya set of seven tantalizing dishes. Starting from Nam Prik Mushroom and Nam Prik Ong Tart, Pla Heang Tang Mo, Kor Moo Yang Yum ma-muang, Crab Curry Croquette, Khao Yum Miang Kham Pla Foo, Tom Som Goong including a dessert All Gay, Charcoal Pudding, coconut ice-cream from Praça’s own Chef Pum.
“It’s like love—sometimes what you see isn’t what you get, and that’s where the magic happens,” said Chef Ploy about the upcoming collaboration. “Without giving too much away, I’ll just say come and taste a meal made with love and plated with pride!”

The seven-course “Plated with Pride” dinner is priced at THB 2,800 for two, including a welcome glass of wineor sparkling wine. There will also be a special offer on beverage and Pride cocktails from Khun “Milk” Thanaworachayakit, The Standard, Bangkok Mahanakhon’s talented Beverage Manager and Praça’s guest bartender.
