Samui Lunar Week at InterContinental Koh Samui

29 January 2025, we had the honor of welcoming the Year of the Snake at InterContinental Koh Samui with a vibrant celebration that blended rich traditions with creative expressions. Our Samui Lunar Week celebration began with a spectacular traditional Lion Dance, a symbol of health, prosperity, and good fortune, setting the tone for an unforgettable celebration.

The festivities continued with two exceptional performances from Baan Jeen Samui, a local Chinese language school in Samui. Their talented students delivered a charming Lion Dance and cheerful renditions of traditional Chinese New Year song, enriching the event with a lively and warm spirit.

At InterContinental Koh Samui, we are proud to offer our guests a unique cultural experience that connects global visitors with the international and local traditions of our beautiful island.
