TRAIT D’HERMÈS

COLOUR DRAWN IN PENCIL TO ELEVATE THE EYES AND LIPS

With a stroke of colour, eyes and lips speak to each other – and a new collection encompassing eye pencils, lip pencils, eyeliner and accessories brings a touch of enchantment to make-up.

Here, specifically, function combines with play, technical excellence with creative flair, while reviving childhood memories.

The eyeliner calls to mind a fountain pen; the wooden pencils and the sharpener could almost have come from a child’s pencil case.

Even the orange-coloured boxes suggest back-to-school essentials.

Trait d’Hermès is a flash of wit and colour. A graphic, poetic expression that intensifies the gaze or defines the lips.

Showcasing a personality or revealing its contours, through lines that elevate a presence while freely reinventing it.

A primary, sophisticated gesture rooted in self-observation traces its straight, curved, fine or bold lines.

With these high-precision tools, every gesture tells a story, and the face becomes a page to be reinvented daily.

Leaving each individual free to discover their own line.

Free to tell their own unique tale.

A COLLECTION OF WOODEN PENCILS FIRMLY ANCHORED IN THE HERMÈS UNIVERSE

The collection is a veritable kaleidoscope of forty shades for the eyes and lips in the form of pencils made from sustainable wood.

Featuring a golden metal cap engraved with an H, the pencil – designed by Pierre Hardy, creator of objects for Hermès Beauty –

elegantly echoes the coloured bands characteristic of show-jumping poles.

Its graphic look is elevated by gloss lacquer in three colours, and the finished object is nestled in a small cardboard box.

“When we apply colour to our faces – to the eyes or anywhere else –
we are, above all, accepting an invitation to show our feelings, our state of mind and especially our emotions.”

Gregoris Pyrpylis – Creative Director of Hermès Beauty
